We have more details about volunteering for the BMO Marathon. We need 24 volunteers, and 1 of those volunteers needs to be someone who could be a volunteer Captain. The volunteer captain would need to be there all day or we would need two Captains to trade-off. Any youth who volunteer can receive volunteer hours from the YMCA. The minimum age for youth is 14 years old.
Volunteer Details:
Date: 1 May 2022
Time: there are two shift options
- Shift AM: 7:00 am-12:00 pm
- Shift PM: 11:30 am -4:30 pm
Location: West Georgia between Denman and Cardero. Please note downtown will be blocked off you will need to walk to this location for the event. However, this location is close to the finish line and not far from the waterfront Skytrain station.
Tasks:
- Direct runners on the route
- Cheer on Runners as they finish the race (this station is less than one km from the finish line)
- Cheers on YMCA runners
